CAPABILITIES:

• Provides active air defense;

• Conducts strategic air strike against enemy forces and installation;

• Conducts combat air patrol over the EEZ and Kalayaan Chain of Islands;

• Provides air surveillance, early warning, aircraft control, command and control and communication network in support of PAF Air Defense System;

• Deploys missile to strategic areas for counter air operations against enemy air attacks;

• provides air support to combat forces in maritime environment;

• Monitors air and surface traffic over the territorial airspace, EEZ and KCI; and

• Performs other functions as directed by higher Headquarters.
